The drug problem in Mexico increased day by day, every time we hear of more deaths and more violence because of this problem, la Procuraduria General de la Republica (PGR) said that drugs are a national security issue and it would be error legalize their trade in the country.
Drugs destroy, and legalizing it would be wrong, since it would increase other types of crimes. It is more feasible and less risky to strengthen national policies, international cooperation against organized crime and against the retail sale of drugs, were the words of Juan de Dios Castro Lozano deputy human rights, in a talk given to youth in a secondary DF city.
He talked about the importance of promoting partnerships between different civil society groups and three levels of government to reduce the spiraling violence and insecurity which damages mainly the young and are young with teachers, and family in charge of try to reduce the problem.
Juan de Dios Castro explained that drug use is highest among people between 10 and 23 years old and is mainly for two reasons: first, by invitation, the second of curiosity. "Hence the serious risk they are teenagers," that is why we must work together government and society to reduce this problem in our country.
